Open Heart Kitchen (Open Heart Kitchen Brochure)
Anyone can receive a free nutritious hot meal made from scratch by volunteers. Meals include a protein and a starch (like chicken and rice), fresh vegetables, green salad, fruit salad, beverages and dessert. They are welcome to either dine in or take meals to go.

Dinner for community’s senior citizens 62 years of age and older. Residents and neighboring seniors are encouraged to enjoy dinner in the dining hall for a requested donation of $3.00 per person in advance or 3.50 at the door. Service includes a nutritious well-balance "senior friendly" hot dinner and side dishes, and an all-you-can-eat soup and salad bar and free beverages. Entertainment is offered on a regular basis and teen volunteers deliver plated meals to the diners along with friendly smiles. Hours of operation:

Children who receive free school lunches during the week are left without on the weekends. To supplement school lunches OHK distributes a box consisting of two healthy lunches to these children and their families on Friday afternoons.

The Haven Food Pantry:
Distributes free groceries to Low-Income Tri-Valley residents, as well as acts as a doorway to Tri-Valley Haven homeless services.

St. Vincent de Paul Food Program:
St. Vincent de Paul is in partnership with St. Augustine Church, will provide assistance with groceries 2 times a year. The St. Vincent de Paul group will come to your home and provide gift cards for the local grocery store. Phone the helpers at St. Augustine Church and they will contact the St. Vincent de Paul group with your phone number.

Food Stamps:
The Food Stamp Program assists low-income individuals and families by providing coupons to purchase food. The Social Services Agency has offices located through out the community.
