Charles Thiel's day job is Program Management and Business Development for Northrop Grumman Corporation. He is a Co-Founder of BasicNecessities.org, as well as President and a Director. His passion for helping others dates back many years, and he has been a long time financial supporter of organizations such as Shepherd's Gate Women's Shelter and Tri-Valley Homeless and Domestic Violence Shelters in Livermore California, World vision, and Children International. He has a loving wife, two children ages 17 and 19, and resides in Pleasanton, California. He also has two sponsored children through Children International, one in Jalisco Mexico, and the other in Guatemala City, Guatemala. In addition to local outreach efforts, Mr. Thiel regularly goes on mission trips to Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada, supporting construction projects through Corazon.org or church ministries such as the La Gran Comisión Iglesia in Ensenada, Mexico.
