At BasicNecessities Inc, we understand the importance of confidentiality to our clients. Whether you are only retrieving information from our website, or communicating with us about resources, projects, or advice, we hold your name in the strictest confidence. We do not keep any personal client information on our web site. Furthermore, we do not generally maintain written records of clients, other than informally if we are dealing with you in a current crisis or situation. We hold your identification in the strictest of confidence, so that you have a place to obtain information in private. This confidentiality extends to our sponsors, donors, and volunteers so that you may feel free to help in any way without concern for your privacy.

We do not "harvest" email addresses from our website visitors or from anyone else. If you post to our guestbook, your email address is not shown in your post.
Client Personal Information
Personal and/or business information provided to us by our clients is not provided to anyone for any reason. If you provide personal information to us by email, telephone, letter, or an online form on our website, we use that information only to provide you with resources or respond to your needs. No client information is stored on our website.
Donor/Volunteer Information
Personal and/or business information provided to us by our donors and volunteers is not provided to anyone for any reason, except as may be required by law. If you provide personal information to us by email, telephone, letter, an online form, or via a donation (e.g. with a check or via PayPal), we only maintain this information to thank you for your generosity and provide year-end tax donation letters (for cash contributions totaling $250 or more). No donor information is stored on our website, although limited volunteer and/or donor information may be displayed on our "Sponsors" page.
PayPal Accounts
We utilize the PayPal shopping cart for donations. PayPal accounts are initiated and maintained by users at the PayPal website, and are not subject to our access or control. When a donor makes a donation through PayPal, we receive notice by email from PayPal containing the following personally identifying information, which is not stored on our website nor provided to anyone.
