Student Grants from BasicNecessities.org - 09/19/2008

BasicNecessites.org will be offering four $500 student grants in the spring, in conjunction with Las Positas College's spring normal scholarship/grant application cycle. The grants will be awarded to students who are the first in their family to go to college, or are re-entering academia after a long time off, for example moms returning to school.

The grant money was made available by BMC, a Houston Texas based software company with local offices in Pleasanton, CA, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, Mission Systems Sector, with offices in San Jose and Sacramento.
